Vathia
Vathia is a traditional village in the Mani peninsula of the southern Peloponnese, known for its cluster of stone tower houses (pyrgospita) built by rival Maniot clans for defence. Perched on a hillside overlooking the sea, it is one of the best-preserved examples of Mani's fortified tower architecture.
